Our Restorative Health Approach to MS
What is Multiple Sclerosis?
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic inflammatory disease of the central nervous system marked by progressive demyelination and axon dysfunction. While lesions in white matter are the hallmark of MS, the real burden of disability comes from deeper breakdowns in gray matter neurons, mitochondrial health, and biochemical resilience.
MS begins when immune cells mistakenly target the myelin sheath, the protective coating around nerve fibers. This disrupts communication between neurons and weakens brain-body control. But the damage doesn’t stop there. Chronic inflammation, glial activation, and oxidative stress further degrade key lipids—particularly plasmalogens, which make up the majority of myelin membrane structure.
Over time, oligodendrocytes, the cells responsible for remyelination, lose their ability to repair damage. This is often not because they are broken, but because they lack the biochemical fuel and building blocks needed to restore function—especially plasmalogens, phospholipids, and mitochondrial cofactors.
Our program is designed to intervene here—by restoring biochemical resilience, supporting remyelination, and enabling the brain’s natural capacity to adapt, repair, and recover.
Our program is built around restoring core biological functions:
- Targeted lipid supplementation (plasmalogen precursors and phospholipids) to support remyelination, axonal repair, and membrane integrity
- Reduction of neuroinflammation by addressing chronic microglial activation and oxidative stress in both lesions and normal-appearing brain tissue
- Support for mitochondrial function to combat fatigue, enhance cellular energy production, and restore oligodendrocyte activity
- Biochemical interventions including glutathione and methylation support to improve detoxification, neurotransmitter balance, and membrane repair
- Monitoring and adaptive tracking through advanced MRI imaging, blood biomarkers, and physical performance assessments to measure real recovery
- Educational tools and support systems to reinforce consistency and empower self-directed health tracking

Multiple sclerosis damages the myelin sheath that insulates nerve fibers (right), disrupting signal transmission and leading to widespread neurological symptoms. The healthy neuron (left) shows intact myelin, essential for efficient communication within the brain and body.

What Our MS Program Looks Like
Biochemical & Functional Assessments
Our BioMetrix™ BioScan includes targeted blood testing for markers associated with demyelination, inflammation, and metabolic dysfunction:
Plasmalogen levels, essential for myelin integrity and often depleted in MS
Oxidized phospholipids, which may contribute to white matter damage
Neurofilament light chain (NfL), a marker of axonal degeneration
Markers of oxidative stress like malondialdehyde (MDA), catalase, and SOD
Hormonal and metabolic indicators, including fasting insulin, glucose, uric acid, and cholesterol profiles
Neurological symptoms are monitored closely throughout the program to assess real-world progress. Common MS-related symptoms include:
Vision disturbances (e.g. optic neuritis), fatigue, numbness, and drop foot
Muscle stiffness, balance issues, and mobility challenges
Bladder and bowel dysfunction, and sensory-motor disconnection
While white matter lesions are a hallmark of MS, symptom severity often correlates with gray matter damage. By tracking both biochemical and functional changes, we can monitor how the brain is recovering, not just guess.
Brain Imaging (MRI)
BioMetrix™ NeuroMRI allows us to track structural and functional changes in the brain over time, beyond just spotting lesions.
T2 FLAIR: Highlights areas of white matter damage.
T1-weighted scans: Show regions of gray matter loss linked to physical decline.
T2 SWAN: Visualizes blood vessels to assess vascular changes.
We use specialized MRI techniques to measure what’s happening deep within brain tissue:
NODI: Analyzes axonal density and stem cell activity related to remyelination.
DTI & Fixel-Based Analysis: Assess white matter fiber integrity, even in complex regions. In some cases, we’ve seen widespread improvements in fiber density across the brain.
fMRI (BOLD): Measures how brain regions are communicating. In some individuals, increased connectivity in motor and visual areas has aligned with real-world functional gains.
Cortical Thickness Mapping: Tracks gray matter volume over time—often correlating with improved physical ability.
Restoration & Optimization of Biochemical and Physiological Health
Each client receives a custom biochemical restoration plan that may include:
NeuroRestore Supplement Protocol, featuring:

Restorative Goals
This program aims to restore neurological function by addressing the core breakdowns of MS—such as chronic demyelination, mitochondrial failure, oxidative stress, and biochemical imbalances that disrupt brain and body function. Rather than managing flare-ups alone, we work to reverse the underlying degeneration by restoring the systems responsible for repair, stability, and resilience.
With consistent participation, individuals with MS have reported improvements aligned with these key restorative goals:
Greater Energy & Reduced Brain Fog
Improved Balance, Mobility & Gait Stability
Reduction in Numbness, Tremors & Sensory Disruptions
Improved Speech, Focus & Cognitive Function
Enhanced Emotional Regulation & Confidence
Renewed Sense of Purpose & Day-to-Day Independence
Please note: Every individual’s experience is unique. While these improvements have been observed in some clients, results vary and cannot be guaranteed.
Real stories. Real impact.
When Lisa joined the program, she was nearly blind and struggling to walk after a severe MS relapse. Within weeks, her vision returned and her energy and mobility began to improve. Her recovery continues to progress, offering powerful evidence that restoration is possible—even after dramatic loss of function.
We do not treat MS – we support the body’s health in those living with it. Our approach focuses on identifying and restoring the underlying biological systems that MS affects, particularly those involved in myelination, inflammation, and cellular resilience.
Rather than managing the disease label, we work to restore the functions MS disrupts: movement, cognition, communication, and quality of life. This is not passive care – it’s a biologically guided, client-empowered process of recovery.
The Biochemistry of MS
From a biochemical perspective, MS is a breakdown of membrane systems - especially the white matter myelin that insulates neurons and the lipid pathways that maintain it. This breakdown includes:
• Plasmalogen depletion, especially omega-9 plasmalogens critical to white matter integrity
• Impaired mitochondrial and peroxisomal function, reducing cellular energy and repair capacity
• Inflammatory and oxidative stress cascades, triggered by membrane instability
• Neurological disconnection, due to compromised neurotransmission and axonal signaling
MS isn’t caused by one single problem it’s a cascade of dysfunction, and rebuilding begins with restoring what’s missing at the molecular level.
Symptoms are real – but they’re not the starting point. Restoration starts with the core systems that make function possible.
How we treat health in MS
We dont' treat the disease. We treat the health affected by it. That means:
- Rebuilding membrane structure with lipid-based nutrients
- Supporting energy production and antioxidant capacity
- Measuring functional outcomes (not just imaging)
- Guiding each person based on their own biochemistry
