Using science to restore & maintain health

Perpetual Health is the lifelong pursuit of optimal function. Mentally. Physically. Biochemically. It’s the idea that health isn’t just the absence of disease, but a measurable, improvable state that can be maintained and restored over time.

For those facing illness or decline, Perpetual Health becomes a roadmap for restoration. Instead of chasing symptoms, we identify the root breakdowns—using tools like advanced MRI and biochemical scans—and apply targeted interventions to rebuild what’s been lost.

Dr. Goodenowe explains that to achieve perpetual health, you have to be able to define it.

The three Foundational Principles of Perpetual Health:

Restore

Health begins with the body’s own systems - and their ability to adapt, repair, and respond to stress. We focus on identifying where that internal balance has broken down and supporting the biochemical functions that are essential for resilience.

Repair

The body has significant reserve capacity. By the time symptoms are clinically observable, a certain degree of physical damage has occurred to systems responsible for performing the functions that have been lost. Repairing and rebuilding requires both internal biochemical machinery and the appropriate building materials for the job.

Rehabilitate

The human mind and body adapt to the environment they are put in. Physical and mental recovery can only be fully achieved by relearning and performing the mental and physical tasks necessary for functional recovery. You must put your body and mind back to work.

FAQ

Do you diagnose or treat specific diseases?

No. We don’t treat or diagnose disease. Instead, we support the body’s health in the context of specific conditions like ALS, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, MS, and others, using science-backed tools to optimize function and resilience.

What makes your approach different?

We combine personalized biochemical data, advanced imaging, and functional assessments with real-world strategies and a strong focus on education. Clients are active participants in a guided, measurable process of restoration.

Is this program right for me or my loved one?

Our programs are designed for individuals seeking a proactive, science-based path to improve quality of life and function—whether newly diagnosed or looking to maintain independence. We work with caregivers and support systems as well.

How do I get started?

The first step is a conversation. We’ll learn more about your needs, answer your questions, and explore which path makes the most sense for you.
